My Home For the Next Two Years

I'm feeling great. Healthy and stuff. No problems there. I am getting a little tired of the area. It's so small that we are running out of ideas. We are trying to work a lot more with the ward now a days. We have been trying to get them to share the gospel with their friends and families a lot, because that's the best way to encounter new investigators. So there's that. And the two families who started out great are dying out a little. I think the kids really like the church but the parents aren't as excited. So we'll see how that works out. Hopefully there will be some baptisms this week.

I don't plan on running right back into school. I think I would like to at least wait until October and try and get in on the block schedule. If possible. But if not I'll just wait, since I get home the day after school starts. But that's still quite a ways off in the future.

Hopefully we should be going to the temple sometime soon. We'll probably find out more about that in our zone conference tomorrow. Also I hope the package is there tomorrow. Oh and something cool, we do get to watch the dedication of the Menaus temple. It's a temple in the north of Brazil. I think that will make 7 in Brazil. Let me count. São Paulo, Campinas, Porto Alegre, Recife, Fortaleza, Curitiba, and Menaus. Yup 7, I don't think Forteleza is dedicated yet either. Oh and on the LDS website Brazil made front cover news. Woot.

I want to go to Canada. That sounds like a fun trip. Elder Perrell tells me about Canada quite a bit since he lived like 30 minutes from the border.

So here in Brazil they have a holiday for everything and anything. Any excuse to not work is taken. Like the other day was Tiradentes, which literally translates to take teeth or take out teeth. So I asked people what the holiday was for and they all said, I don't know, just so we don't have to work. Turns out it's actually about some revolutionist guy who did something and was a dentist. Who knows? That's just one example.

Tell Kyle I said Hi too.

Well that's all I can think of for this week. I finally found a place to put pictures on a DVD. I'll send it home with the package.

Tchau Tchau, te amo.
